COVID-19 Restrictive Period

Resident Next-of-Kin Visitor Policy

“Our COVID-19 Restrictive Measures strongly recommend the use of technology to conduct virtual meetings with Residents. Should a family member still wish to have a face-to-face visit, then the following Policy must be strictly adhered to”.

During the COVID-19 period, and for an indefinite period thereafter, all visits by friends & family to Residents at Belvedere will be strictly controlled.

Our COVID-19 prevention measures and risk assessments are ongoing, and in conjunction with guidance from the Department of Health, visitors will be asked screening questions upon arrival. These include:

  1. Have you been feeling unwell recently?
  2. Have you had recent onset of a new continuous cough?
  3. Do you have a high temperature?
  4. Have you noticed a loss of, or change in, normal sense of taste or smell?
  5. Have you had recent contact (in the last 14 days) with anyone with COVID-19 symptoms or someone with confirmed COVID-19?
  6. Have you returned from Foreign Travel in the last 14 days?

If a Visitor answers ‘YES’ to any of the above, they will not be permitted to visit the Resident & they will be asked to leave the premises immediately & follow NHS COVID-19 isolation procedures.

The COVID-19 Visitor Policy (& Procedures)** are as follows:

**Should it be necessary, and where advised to do so, this Policy may revert back to a complete ban on all visits**.
